Treatment facility is extremely pleasant place, makes patients and family feel ok to go to. Around the corner once you come out of the doctors office (in same building) is a little cafe that anyone can go to. It was a beautiful day on Wednesday 10/6, Dad and I went to the little cafe got lunch, spagetti and took it outside. They have it set up around a healing garden which is surrounded by beautiful flowers that attract butterflies. The weather was just gorgeous for a early October day. Dad just finished a treatment, it was nice just to sit and chat, look at flowers and butterflies.
Hope you guys get a chance to see it, sit and just feel the sun for a few minutes in our extremely busy days.
Take care all, have a great weekend!!
Love, Tammy

Appt. on Wednesday 10/6/10
Hello everyone, thanks for keeping in touch with Dad's blog.
I met up with Dad after his treatment on Wednesday which also he got to talk to the doctor on same day, they talk to him once a week to see how he is feeling and to make sure that he knows how his progress is going.
Dad has now completed 12 treatments. He is not liking them much and is wishing that they would be done with it. He is feeling a bit tired and is getting up at night 4-5 times. Unfortunately according to the doctor on Wednesday that is one of the side effects. Dad had me asked him why they can't make them faster, the doctor says if they were to increase the treatments to 2 times a day his prostate and bladder would swell more which would cause more him to be uncomfortable and get up at night and during the day many more times. For this reason they want to continue going at the slower pace. He has been given a prescription of antibiotics to help.
Treatments: 12 down and 33 to go, hang in there Dad!!
